Payton joined Insite in 2023 to open the Orlando branch office alongside Alex Bisbee. He brings nearly 10 years of retail real estate experience to the team and has been involved in many notable projects throughout Central Florida. Areas of expertise include landlord representation, strategic repositioning of retail and office properties, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and implementing creative marketing approaches to maximize NOI and property values for his clients. Prior to joining Insite, Payton was the Director of Leasing and Sales at Forness Properties where he managed a retail leasing portfolio in excess of 1.7m sq ft. He has experience working with a wide range of clients, from REITs and national tenants to local property owners and businesses. He has an extensive track record of completed transactions with some of the nation’s top retailers. Payton is a commercial real estate investor and brings an ownership mentality to each transaction he is a part of.
Payton was born and raised in Orlando and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Finance. He is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
